WAKOL D 3060 Plastification Additive is a ready-to-use dispersion and replaces mixing water for blending approved Wakol levelling compounds. The result is a significant improvement in adhesion to the subfloor, less strain from shrinkage, with increased elasticity of the levelling compound layer. Additional applications then become possible:

DIRECTLY LEVELLING OVER OLD ADHESIVE RESIDUE

In the past, a two-staged procedure was required for all waterproof adhesive residue – priming and then levelling. WAKOL D 3060 Plastification Additive combined with a suitable Wakol levelling compound makes the primer unnecessary, so that the surface can be directly levelled in a single operation.

DIRECT LEVELLING OF OLD, FIXED EXISTING FLOOR COVERINGS

Where time-intensive and labour-intensive removal of the floor covering was often necessary, with old needle fleece flooring, for example, WAKOL D 3060 Plastification Additive combined with a suitable Wakol levelling compound now allows direct levelling of the old covering. In addition, cleaned CV, PVC & ceramic tile surfaces can be directly levelled. A plasticiser block can also be achieved in existing floor coverings containing plasticisers, in order to rule out plasticiser interactions in the subsequent laying.

LEVELLING OVER SCREW HOLES AND BORDERS

WAKOL D 3060 Plastification Additive combined with a suitable Wakol levelling compound is much more economical when filling screw holes and borders in wooden material tiles compared with a dispersion-based levelling compound. Impacts of trowels can also be filled in, for example.

FILLING CABLE DUCTS AND OTHER TRANSITIONAL AREAS

WAKOL D 3060 Plastification Additive combined with a suitable Wakol levelling compound is ideally suited for filling in WAKOL AR 150 Reinforcement Fabric wherever different subfloors abut one another and there is a risk of tearing. Even metal wiring ducts otherwise requiring elaborate treatment can be directly filled previous priming.

COMPLETE LEVELLING OF CORK AND RUBBER GRANULE MATS

WAKOL D 3060 Plastification Additive combined with a suitable Wakol levelling compound allows direct levelling of cork and rubber granule mats, such as WAKOL TS 102 Footfall Soundproofing Mat, 2 mm without priming. Depending on the application, the applied layer serves

as a plasticiser block
to distribute the strain or
to remove roughness and unevenness

of the mat surface.
