Parquet installation in commercial projects - just in time despite residual moisture!

Time is often a major factor when laying parquet in a building. Efficient solutions are sought to avoid delays and, if possible, even compensate for previous delays. With the customised system from Wakol, footfall sound insulation and parquet installation are carried out in a single step. Saving more time is hardly possible.

Seal off residual moisture quickly and safely with WAKOL PU 280 Polyurethane Primer

If the substrate is still too damp, the first step is to apply the tried-and-tested WAKOL PU 280 Polyurethane Primer to the prepared substrate. This reliably and quickly blocks capillary moisture, and work can continue after a drying time of 40 to 50 minutes per coat. After two cross-coat applications on unheated concrete or cement screeds, the Polyurethane Primer blocks up to a maximum of 6 CM% or 98 % KRL, on underfloor heating up to a maximum of 3 CM% or 85 % KRL.

Impact sound insulation and parquet installation in one step - thanks to WAKOL MS 232 Parquet Adhesive, elastic in combination with WAKOL TS 160 Footfall Soundproofing Mat

The first step is followed by the installation of the WAKOL TS 160 Footfall Soundproofing Mat. This is first laid out loosely, with the aluminium lamination ensuring good flatness. WAKOL MS 232 Parquet Adhesive, elastic, is then applied to the specified slots using a suitable applicator. The desired parquet can then simply be laid directly on top. Strip parquet up to a maximum width of 80 mm and length of 600 mm would be possible, and surface finishing can be started after just 24 hours. If multi-layer parquet from 90 cm is laid, this is the last step and the floor is ready for use.

WAKOL PU 280 Polyurethane Primer and WAKOL MS 232 Parquet Adhesive, elastic are both classified as very low-emission with EMICODE EC1 PLUS.
